In 2024, Pamplin College of Business recognized several outstanding individuals for their contributions to diversity, inclusion, and academic excellence. Management student Meena Zaheen received the Diversity Excellence Award, with honorable mention going to Andrea Amihere, also from the Management program. The Deans Advisory Board of Students (DABS) awarded the 2024 DABS President Recognition to Hudson Aikins and Mariam Farzayee, who are both students in the Management and Accounting and Information Systems programs respectively.
Pamplin had nine first honors graduates in 2024 who achieved a 4.0 GPA at Virginia Tech. These exceptional students include Rahul Bhatt in Management, Jonathan Braun in Finance and Real Estate, Anne Deegan in BIT and Management, Charli Dietz in ACIS, Alexandra Evan in BIT and Management, Rhea Nair in Management, Logan Rawlings in Finance, Dylan Recardo in Finance, and Samiksha Sarda in Management.
