The 2024 World Men’s Curling Championship is set to take place at the ice arena in the KSS Sports Complex in Schaffhausen, Switzerland from 30 March to 7 April 2024. This year’s tournament promises to be a thrilling event with teams from across the globe competing for the coveted title. Scotland, led by skip Bruce Mouat, will be defending their championship after their victory in the previous edition held in Ottawa, Canada. However, they will face tough competition from countries like Sweden, led by Niklas Edin, Team Canada with Brad Gushue as the skip, and Italy led by Joel Retornaz.
The tournament will kick off with a round-robin event where all 13 teams will play against each other once. The top six teams after all the games are played will progress to the next stage of the competition, with the top two teams automatically advancing to the semi-finals. The remaining four teams will battle it out in a play-off to secure the last two spots.
