Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed his hopes for a major Russian offensive in the north and east of the country, specifically targeting the city of Kharkiv, as Moscow continues its assault that began on May 10. Despite recent Russian advances, Zelensky believes that the situation for Ukrainian forces has improved compared to a week ago when Russian troops unexpectedly crossed the border.
