The XCC World Cup is back for the 2024 season, and it kicked off with an intense 20-minute bar-to-bar race in Brazil. The U23 riders were the first to tackle the brand new course, with Kira Bohm taking a commanding win in the Women’s race, while Riley Amos showed his strength in the Men’s race by edging out Dario Lillo.

The following day, the Elites took on the all-out sprint of XCC, facing the high heat and humidity of the Brazilian jungle. In the Women’s race, Kate Courtney initially led the pack, but Evie Richards made a strong push to take the lead and hold it until the end. In the Men’s race, Luca Schwarzbauer set a quick pace from the start, with Sam Gaze eventually emerging victorious with a sprint to the finish line.

Unlike previous years, there is no break for elite riders this season as XCC now takes place on Saturdays followed by full-length XCO racing. You can find all of these races online at our website and check out our highlights and quick analysis of each event.
