Woods Rogers law firm in Roanoke has recently merged with Vandeventer Black of Norfolk to form Woods Rogers Vandeventer Black. However, the company has decided to rebrand itself as simply Woods Rogers to represent its 135 attorneys and five offices. The new branding includes a green squiggle logo on their website.

Meanwhile, a new law firm has opened a Roanoke office. Harman Claytor Corrigan & Wellman, a civil law firm based in Richmond, has established an office on Church Avenue Southwest with three attorneys. The firm’s president, David Corrigan, stated that this new office will help in serving clients in Southwest Virginia. Harman Claytor primarily focuses on defending government agencies and corporations in legal matters.
