The Wings for Life World Run is a globally recognized running event that takes place on May 5 at 7 am ET. This year, the event features new branding and an arena, as well as special promotions aimed at encouraging fans to sign up. The run serves as a fundraiser for research efforts to find a cure for spinal cord injuries and is open to people of all abilities, whether they choose to run, walk, or participate in a wheelchair.

One of the unique aspects of the Wings for Life World Run is its format. Unlike traditional races with a fixed finish line, this event features a virtual “Catcher Car” that starts 30 minutes after the race begins. Participants must complete their race before the Catcher Car passes them, at which point their race officially concludes. This format accommodates individuals of various fitness levels and makes it accessible to everyone who wants to participate.
