WhatsApp is adding a new feature to its Android app that will allow users to share longer videos. This feature, available in the States section of the app, allows users to share videos up to 60 seconds long. The States format is similar to Instagram Stories, where users can share text, photos, and other content that disappears after 24 hours. Currently, users can only share videos up to 30 seconds long, but this limit is being increased in the latest beta version for Android.

When sharing a video on WhatsApp, users can record it within the app or choose from their Gallery. The timeline of the video will be displayed in the interface, and if it exceeds 60 seconds, users can trim it to specify which part they want to publish. This feature is currently available for a limited number of testers who have downloaded the latest beta version from the Google Play Store.

In addition to this new feature, WhatsApp also offers various groups that explore different themes and interests. These groups include prayer, adventure, wildlife, education, financial foresight and more. Each group provides unique content and experiences related to their specific focus, encouraging users to explore and engage with a variety of topics and communities.

Overall, this new feature adds an exciting element to WhatsApp’s States format and allows users to share longer videos with their friends and family.
