WhatsApp is known for its innovative features that enhance the security of our messages and calls. This popular app allows us to share personal information with trusted contacts, such as photos, identification data, and documents. However, many users may not be aware of a hidden feature within WhatsApp that can protect their IP address from espionage.

To safeguard against potential espionage tactics, including determining geographical area, operating system, and initiating DDoS attacks, users can activate the button “Protect the IP address in calls.” By doing so, users can prevent the sender from locating their device’s geographical location when connecting to the app’s servers.

For an extra layer of protection, users can also enable the “Turn off link previews” button. This optional feature prevents links from generating a preview when sent from your device. This additional security measure ensures that third-party websites cannot access your IP address.

To enable these security features, navigate to the settings section of WhatsApp and locate the respective buttons. By proactively enabling these features, users can enhance their privacy and security while using the app. Stay safe and protected while communicating through WhatsApp by utilizing these advanced security measures.
