Jeff Driskel has recently been signed by the Commanders as a veteran quarterback. A sixth-round pick in 2016, Driskel has played for several NFL teams including the Bengals, Lions, Broncos, Texans, and Browns. Throughout his career, he has appeared in 24 games with 12 starts. In 2023, he started for the Browns in Week 18 where he completed 13-of-26 passes for 166 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions during the AFC’s No. 5 seeded game against the Bengals.

Driskel will now join Marcus Mariota and Jake Fromm as the third quarterback on Washington’s roster. The Commanders are also expected to select a quarterback with the No. 2 overall pick in the upcoming NFL draft. As part of their offseason program, Washington will be starting under new head coach Dan Quinn on Tuesday.
