In the spring of 2023, Gannon University announced the resignation of its head men’s basketball coach, Jordan Fee, after just one season in charge. Despite leading the team to a program record of 32-3 for single-season wins and winning the Atlantic Regional Championship before reaching the NCAA Division II quarterfinals, Fee decided to step down from his position.

In a university release, Fee expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to lead Gannon basketball and mentioned the progress made in restoring the program’s reputation and culture. His tenure saw a remarkable turnaround from a dismal 3-23 record in the season prior, making it the largest year-to-year improvement by any NCAA men’s or women’s basketball team. However, Fee did not disclose any information about his future plans in coaching.

Fee left behind a legacy of deep bench strength and a fast-paced playing style that earned Gannon recognition for scoring an average of 100.4 points per game, the second-highest in the country. Under his leadership, the team secured a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) regular season championship, a PSAC tournament championship, and achieved Gannon’s highest National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) ranking to date.

Now that he has resigned from his position as head men’s basketball coach at Gannon University, Jordan Fee has left behind a lasting impact on both his players and fans alike. While he may not be able to reveal too much about his future plans in coaching just yet, there is no doubt that this former coach will continue to make waves on and off the court for years to come.
