The Italian Video Game Awards (IVGA) ceremony, honoring excellence in the Italian video game industry, will take place on July 4 at Cinema La Compagnia. This event, organized by IIDEA and Toscana Film Commission with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, aims to support the growth of the Italian video game industry.
On July 3rd at 2:00 pm, First Playable’s 2024 program will kick off with an international conference at Cinema La Compagnia, featuring guests like Jeremiah Cohn (CD Projekt Red) and Raphael Colantonio (WolfEye Studios). Workshops on various business topics will be held on July 4 and 5 at the Innovation Center of Nana Bianca. These workshops, limited to 100 participants, will cover topics ranging from music in video games to regulations and contracts in the industry.
On July 4th, workshops will focus on music, Unreal Engine, and best practices for capitalizing on video games. On July 5th, discussions will delve into regulations, contracts, and specialized training opportunities within the video game industry. Pitching sessions with over 30 international publishers and investors will also be available for Italian video game developers on these two days.
