On May 2, the University of Utah will hold its 155th general commencement, recognizing graduates from Fall 2023, Spring and Summer 2024. A total of 118 current or former Utah student-athletes are set to receive their degrees during this event, which can be viewed on livestream at 6 p.m. MT on Thursday at www.utah.edu/live.
The University of Utah’s student-athletes have consistently demonstrated a high level of academic achievement, with a 94% figure in the most recent NCAA GSR Report released in December 2023. This marks the sixth consecutive year that Utah’s score has been 93% or higher and ranks second in the Pac-12 behind Stanford.
The graduating student-athletes represent a variety of sports including baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, cross country and track & field, football, golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, skiing, soccer, softball, men’s swimming & diving, women’s swimming & diving, men’s tennis
