Recently, USA Health opened a new sports medicine services location at USA Health Providence Hospital in west Mobile. Orthopaedic and sports medicine specialists began seeing patients at this new location on Monday, June 17, on the second floor of Building A101 at 6701 Airport Blvd.

Natalie Fox, DNP, PNP-BC, chief physician enterprise officer for USA Health, expressed excitement about the new office, viewing it as a step in the organization’s efforts to transform healthcare in the region. The goal of the new location is to provide high-quality, comprehensive medical care to athletes of all levels to ensure they can achieve peak performance and recover quickly from injuries.

The team at the new location includes USA Health orthopedic surgeon Bradly Clay, M.D.; sports medicine/family medicine physicians Peter Rippey, M.D., CAQSM, and Bishop Carmichael, D.O., CAQSM; and sports medicine physician/pediatrician Sarah McMullin, M.D., CAQSM. Appointments at this new location can be made by calling 251-660-6458.

At the new office, patients ages 8 and older can receive care for sports-related injuries and conditions. Dr. Peter Rippey is a White male physician who specializes in Family Medicine with a focus on Sports Medicine
