60 Years of Legendary Swimsuits Featured in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue LPGA closely monitoring health concerns following withdrawal of 10 players from Mizuho Americas Open The 60th Anniversary of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue: Honoring Legends Shareholders of International Game Technology Approve Resolutions Anderson County Hospital to Award Health Scholarships in 2024

On Sunday, April 28 from 1-5 p.m., the Student Recreation Center will host an event that aims to promote personal health and wellness. Attendees can access complementary health services and receive information related to health and wellness. The event is being organized by the Health Sciences and Technology Academy, Minorities Association of Pre-Healthcare Students, and the Student National Medical Association.

The event will include a two-mile Community Health Walk starting at 2:30 p.m., followed by a run beginning at 3:30 p.m. Attendees can expect to receive services such as oxygen screenings, blood pressure and nutritional screenings, diabetes prevention/exercise promotion education, among others.

According to Gregory Epps, advisor to the sponsoring student organizations, the goal of the event is to provide an inclusive experience where attendees can enjoy the festivities while receiving helpful services and information related to personal health and wellness. The Expo is supported by the WVU Health Sciences Center, WVU Medicine, NASA WV Space Grant Consortium, and other campus and community partners.
