The U.S. Ski & Snowboard team has announced the nine ski cross athletes who will represent the USA at the Ski Cross FIS Junior World Championships in Idre Fjäll, Sweden next month. Among them is standout athlete Morgan Shute, who recently won silver medals at the Youth Olympic Games in Korea. Shute is ranked first in the NorAm overall and will be joined by teammate Walker Robinson, who also won silver at the Youth Olympic Games.

Alpine Development Director Chip Knight praised the group of ski cross athletes, noting their mix of up-and-coming talent and experienced veterans. The team is expected to perform well at the World Juniors event, which will feature both individual and team competitions on April 14-15.

The U.S. Junior World Championships roster includes Molly Hagan, Maggie Swain, Morgan Shute, and Deia Steinmetz for the women’s team, and Sullivan Butler, Aiden England, Jack Mitchell, Tanner Murphy, and Walker Robinson for the men’s team. Each athlete brings a unique skill set to the team and is looking forward to competing against the world’s best in Sweden.
