On Thursday, May 30, multiple media outlets reported that Rawa Majid, also known as the “Kurdish Fox,” leader of the criminal organization Foxtrot, was responsible for multiple terrorist attacks in Europe and was planning new attacks. According to Interpol, Rawa Majid is 37 years old and wanted for crimes related to murder and drug trafficking.
Israeli intelligence, Mossad, linked the Foxtrot organization to an attack on the Israeli embassy in Stockholm in January 2024 when a hand grenade was thrown (but did not explode). Mossad reported that Rawa Majid was arrested after crossing from Turkey to Iran in September 2023 and recruited by Iranian intelligence services. His current whereabouts are unknown.
Mossad also believes that the Foxtrot organization, along with another Swedish Kurdish group called Rumba led by Ismail Abdo, were funded by Iran and behind attacks on Jewish and Israeli targets in Europe. A 14-year-old militant from Rumba fired at the Israeli Embassy in Stockholm on May 17. The recent demonstration attack on the Israeli Embassy in Brussels using airsoft grenades was believed to have been instructed by Iranian intelligence services.
According to a report by France-Presse, news agencies such as Ynet and Times of Israel also covered this information. Furthermore, according to Aftonbladet, the father of Rawa Majid stated that his son had left Iran and could be in the Afghanistan region. The ongoing situation reveals a complex web of terrorist activities orchestrated by Iranian intelligence services across Europe involving various criminal organizations under their control.
