Concord University’s Department of Business is thrilled to announce the 31st Annual Concord Business Challenge (CBC), taking place on October 24, 2024. This exciting event will provide an opportunity for high school juniors and seniors from West Virginia and Virginia to showcase their business talent and skills while competing in a challenging environment.

The CBC is designed to test students’ knowledge in various areas of business such as accounting, economics, finance, marketing, management, hospitality, computer applications, and business math. The competition will crown first, second, and third place winners in each category.

The event will culminate with an awards ceremony at noon where students will be recognized for their outstanding performance in each challenge as well as overall school winners. In addition to recognition, 12 scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $4,000 will be awarded. The top two students will receive scholarships of up to $4,000 each spanning over eight semesters.

Dr. Allison Bean expressed her excitement about the upcoming event saying “For the past 30 years we have been honored to host the Concord Business Challenge. As we prepare for our 31st annual event this fall we are thrilled to welcome talented juniors and seniors from across West Virginia and Virginia to our campus.”
