Andreas Reger is set to become the new president and CEO of Viega LLC starting on April 1. He will be taking over from Markus Brettschneider, who has been appointed as the global CEO for Viega Group effective in September. The transition comes after current global CEO Claus Holst-Gydesen decided to move to Viega’s supervisory board.

Andreas Reger is a growth-driven leader who is joining Viega LLC during a crucial period of growth. The company has plans for more than $300 million of investments in its Kansas production facility and a new Ohio facility over the next five years. Reger has experience leading growing businesses and ensuring that the growth benefits all stakeholders.

Reger comes to Viega from BBB Industries, where he was president of the Undercar Business Unit. Prior to that, he held regional CEO roles for Pollmann North America, ALPLA North America, and DÜRR Ecoclean, Inc. Reger has a strong educational background, having studied International Business Management at the Universidad de Zaragoza and the FH Wiesbaden, obtained a master’s degree in business administration from Colorado State University, and earned a doctorate in business administration from Lawrence Technological University.

Reger expressed his excitement about joining Viega LLC by mentioning being attracted to the company’s industry-leading products, commitment to quality, and values-based culture. He looks forward to contributing to the company’s growth and expansion alongside the team. Markus Brettschneider, the current President and CEO of Viega LLC, has been with the company since 2020 and expressed confidence in Reger’s capabilities to lead the company to new heights. Brettschneider is committed to ensuring a smooth transition in the coming months.
