Union-Endicott High School’s Technology Department has been recognized with the New York State Technology Education & Engineering Association Program of Excellence Award. The department, which offers a variety of programs such as welding, automotive, flight simulation, and carpentry, was nominated for the award by the Southern Tier Technology & Engineering Educators Association.

Corey Munn, an Engineering Teacher at the school, expressed his gratitude for the recognition, stating “It is a great honor to receive this award and to be recognized by our peers for the hard work we have put into our program.” The Program of Excellence Award is one of the highest honors given by the New York State Technology & Engineering Educators Association.

As a result of this recognition, Union-Endicott High School will now be considered for the International Technology Educators & Engineering Association’s Program of Excellence Award, representing New York State in the process. This achievement is a testament to the dedication and commitment of our technology department in providing students with high-quality education in technology and engineering.
