Nate Ament, a power forward from Warrenton, Virginia, has received an offer from UNC basketball program. This offer is one of many that he has received, with schools like Duke, Kansas, Illinois, Michigan, Virginia and Virginia Tech also vying for his talents. The UNC coaching staff watched Ament play in an AAU event and decided to extend the offer after being impressed by his performance.

Standing at 6-foot-9 and weighing 170 pounds, Ament is ranked No. 13 nationally and is considered the No. 5 power forward in the 2025 recruiting class. With this impressive ranking and skill set, he is a top target for the Tar Heels as they look to strengthen their team for the coming seasons. Despite not yet receiving a commitment from any players in the 2025 class, there is still plenty of time for the UNC coaching staff to secure commitments.

This offer to Ament adds to the list of 23 offers he has received, making him a highly sought-after recruit. With Ament being the 14th player to receive an offer in this class, the program is actively building their recruiting class for the future.
