Lipscomb University has welcomed sophomore starter Kellan Boylan, who announced his commitment on X, to its roster. Boylan played 30 games for Air Force in the 2023-24 season, averaging 7.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game. His standout performance came against Wyoming when he scored 32 points on nine 3-pointers. He reached double figures in eight games, three times in Mountain West play.

This transfer comes after sophomore Rytis Petraitis committed to California earlier this month. Petraitis led Air Force in various statistical categories during the 2023-24 season. The Falcons are the only team in the Mountain West Conference to have two players enter the transfer portal; cadet athletes are eligible to transfer until the start of their junior years as per Academy rules.

Air Force’s 2023-24 campaign was a challenging one, finishing with a record of 9-22 and marking its worst full season since 2001. The Falcons ended up at the bottom of the Mountain West standings with a disappointing conference record of 2-16.
