In the early hours of April 19, a shooting occurred in Inkster, resulting in the death of a 35-year-old man. The incident took place at around 1 a.m. at a strip mall on Henry Ruff Road, near Cherry Hill Road.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers found two men with gunshot wounds. Both victims were rushed to the hospital, where one of them tragically passed away. The other victim, a 33-year-old man, remains in critical condition.
The investigation into the shooting has been handed over from the Inkster Police Department to the Michigan State Police for further examination. However, the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear at this time, and authorities are seeking witnesses or individuals with information related to the incident.
