On Saturday, a three-year-old boy was discovered inside a closed vehicle in Ashdod. He had been left there for several hours and was rushed to Asuta Hospital in critical condition. Unfortunately, the hospital later confirmed his death. The police have opened an investigation into the incident.

The incident began when MDA’s hotline received a report about a child trapped inside a closed vehicle in Ashdod. Medical teams provided immediate treatment and transported him to the hospital in critical condition. Police officers began searching for the boy after receiving reports that he had been missing since noon, eventually locating him locked in a parked car suffering from heat stroke.

MDA paramedic Yoel Kahn described finding the unconscious boy in the back seat of the vehicle and quickly evacuating him to the hospital. Despite efforts by medical staff, the boy ultimately did not survive. This tragic incident serves as a reminder of the dangers of leaving children unattended in vehicles.
