With the signings of Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd, the Tennessee Titans’ receiving corps is set to receive a significant boost this year. These new additions provide upgrades over last year’s group, which mainly consisted of DeAndre Hopkins as the primary target. Despite his productivity, defenses keying in on Hopkins made his job more difficult. However, he still managed to have a productive season with over 1,000 yards and seven touchdowns.

Hopkins recently commented on the revamped receiving corps, calling it one of the best groups he has been a part of on paper. Despite his optimism, he acknowledges that they have yet to prove themselves on the field and are still learning to work together. Boyd, who is new to the team, has prior experience with head coach Brian Callahan from their time together in Cincinnati.

For Hopkins, this year brings the challenge of learning a new offense after being familiar with last year’s system. He is focused on executing flawlessly and improving his performance every day. The addition of more help on offense has only fueled his competitive spirit as he aims to outperform and outcompete his teammates as a way to elevate the team as a whole.

As he enters his 12th season in the NFL, Hopkins remains motivated and driven to excel on the field. His competitive mindset, inspired by Kobe Bryant, pushes him to constantly strive for excellence and to elevate his performance for the benefit of the team.
