The opening round of the 2024 series at Fort William course was a thrilling affair that left fans on the edge of their seats. The highlights of the race included two new Junior winners, Vali Höll’s continued dominance, and Loic Bruni’s first win in Scotland.

Among the standout performances was Heather Wilson’s impressive victory on home soil, beating out Sacha Earnest and Eliana Hulsebosch by just 3.597 seconds. Despite suffering a rear flat, Erice Van Leuven managed to finish in fifth place, showing remarkable resilience.

In the elite division, Asa Vermette made a strong debut with his first World Cup victory, finishing six seconds ahead of Luke Wayman. Daniel Parfitt came in third place, just over six seconds off the winning pace.

Vali Höll once again showed her skill and determination by winning with an incredible comeback in the final two track sectors after falling behind in split two. Nina Hoffmann put on a stellar performance but was unable to match Höll’s time in split two. Tahnee Seagrave finished the week in third place and showed a return to form after struggling last season.

The next round of racing will take place in Poland with a brand new track for round two. With such exciting competition and new winners, fans can look forward to even more unforgettable moments as they tune into the next race from Fort William.
