On Sunday, Kyle Larson made history by securing the pole position for the Cup race at Texas Motor Speedway with a lap of 190.369 mph. This marks the fastest pole lap on a 1.5-mile track in the Next Gen car. The race is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET on FS1, and it’s sure to be an exciting event as the drivers compete for the win.

Ty Gibbs will start in the second position after a lap of 190.134 mph, followed by Christopher Bell (190.027 mph) and Tyler Reddick (189.807). Chase Briscoe (189.753) and William Byron (189.713) will make up the second row, while both Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson encountered incidents during practice that prevented them from making qualifying attempts. As a result, Busch will start 35th in a backup car, while Johnson will start 37th in his primary car.
