Texas Longhorns Eyeing Top 4 Spot with Elite Talent on CBS Sports’ Top 100 Players List

As the Texas Longhorns head into the 2024 season, they are filled with high expectations and a roster of elite talent. They boast one of the best rosters in the country, alongside teams like Ohio State, Georgia, Ole Miss, Alabama, and Oregon. Five Longhorns made CBS Sports’ list of the top 100 players in college football: Kelvin Banks at No. 10, Isaiah Bond at No. 14, Quinn Ewers at No. 15, CJ Baxter and Trey Moore at No.87 and No.93 respectively.

Kelvin Banks is widely recognized as one of the best tackles in college football, ranking second behind LSU’s Will Campbell on CBS Sports’ list. Isaiah Bond follows closely behind at No. 14 while Quinn Ewers is considered one of the top returning quarterbacks in the nation, ranked fourth behind Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders, Alabama’s Jalen Milroe and Georgia’s Carson Beck.
