Standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 175 pounds, Poteat is a three-star recruit from Verona Area High School in Verona, Wisconsin.
Ranked as the No. 541 overall player in his class, Poteat is also the No. 47 cornerback and the No. 4 player in the state of Wisconsin. He is set to make an official visit to Tennessee on Friday to potentially solidify his commitment.
