On Friday, April 19, a structure fire occurred in Big Bend. The fire happened near Industrial and Edgewood, and it was just after 9 p.m. when Greg Peterson received the call. As the owner of Extreme Exteriors, Peterson expressed his shock and sadness at the devastation caused by the fire.

The fire is believed to have started due to wood staining rags, and more than 20 fire departments were involved in containing it. Fortunately, the fire did not spread to any nearby businesses and resulted in no injuries. Despite the loss of his business, Peterson is grateful that firefighters were able to save priceless memories, such as photos of his family.

Peterson is already looking towards rebuilding and staying positive about the future. The damage estimate for the fire is still unknown, but Peterson believes it is likely in the millions. An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing, and Peterson is touched by the outpouring of support from the community during this difficult time. He is appreciative of the help offered by those around him and determined to move forward and rebuild his business.
