Superhero Science: Discovering the Fascinating Evolution of Popular Culture’s Courageous Pioneers at Mid-America Science Museum

A new traveling exhibit, Hall of Heroes, will be unveiled at Mid-America Science Museum on Saturday, May 25th. Located in the museum’s Hall of Wonder, the exhibit delves into the history and science of superheroes. Visitors can expect interactive programming, movie props, replicas, and rare artifacts from major motion pictures and television shows, both past and present.

Diane LaFollette, CEO of Mid-America Science Museum, expressed excitement about the exhibit stating, “This is a unique opportunity for visitors to discover the hero within themselves and to explore the timeless ideals of courage, resilience, and selflessness. The exhibit features a full-scale “half” replica of the iconic 1960’s Barris Kustoms’ Batmobile.
