The Houston Texans have made another bold move in the offseason, signing 1,000-yard receiver Stefan Diggs. After passing his physical and being added to the team’s roster, Diggs will join a receiving corps that includes Nico Collins, Tank Dell, and Noah Brown. The Texans also re-signed tight end Dalton Schultz this offseason.

At 30 years old, Diggs has earned Pro Bowl honors in each of the past four seasons with the Bills, averaging 6.7 catches and 87.4 yards in 66 games. He has recorded six consecutive 1,000-yard seasons. The Texans pursued Diggs after failing to secure a deal for Keenan Allen, who ended up signing with the Bears instead. Houston offered similar compensation to the Bears for Allen that Buffalo accepted for Diggs. This acquisition of Diggs adds a significant boost to the Texans’ offense and further solidifies their roster for the upcoming season.
