After failing to reach an agreement with the Airline Union of Austria (AUA) on-board staff, negotiations for a KV have reached a stalemate. This has led to concerns about company meetings and potential strikes during the busy Easter travel period. The works council has announced that talks have broken off, according to a company spokesperson. However, they hope that the works council will return to the negotiating table as another day of negotiations is scheduled for Friday.

The responsible trade union, Daniel Liebhart Vida, confirmed that talks had ended after multiple rounds of negotiations. He expressed disappointment that the company was only offering compensation for annual inflation of 7.8%, which is not acceptable to employees. He urged the company to make a more serious offer.

The company representative expressed their concern about the union’s demands, stating that meeting every concession could result in significant jumps in salary levels. The company is prepared to increase salaries by up to 18% on average for cockpit and cabin staff and up to 28% for co-pilots over a two-year period. While the union has not set clear demands publicly, they are not willing to make decisions until Friday. The company insists on a longer-term contract stretching until the end of 2025 while the union prefers a shorter term. The company package includes increases in profit sharing and aims to meet inflation demands.

Amidst these negotiations, there are discussions in various online forums about purchasing equipment for chip tuning and auto diagnostics. Users are seeking recommendations for reliable online stores to buy such equipment. The forums also touch on unrelated topics like online casinos and BMW forums
