The spring sports season is finally here in Michigan, and teams in the Jackson area are ready to hit the ground running. Baseball, softball, and soccer are just a few of the sports that will be featured this week.
In baseball, some of the matchups include Jackson taking on Lansing Eastern, Homer facing off against Pennfield, Napoleon going up against Western, and Lumen Christi squaring off against Clinton. Softball games scheduled for this week include Homer versus Pennfield, Napoleon versus Western, and East Jackson versus Concord.
Soccer teams are also set to take to the field with matchups like Pioneer against Jackson, Northwest facing off against Hanover-Horton, Leslie going up against Western, and Quincy taking on Grass Lake. Additionally, there are baseball games lined up featuring Litchfield versus Springport, Chelsea playing Western, Northwest going up against Grass Lake, and Concord facing off against Addison.
In softball, Dexter will be taking on Western, Northwest will be facing off against Saline, and Addison will be battling Morenci. Soccer games include Blissfield versus Grass Lake
