Las Vegas is a city known for its major sporting events, world-class entertainment, and conventions. This month, a conference is set to take place that will combine all three aspects to further elevate the city. The Sports, Entertainment Innovation Conference (SEI Con) will showcase the intersection of sports, entertainment, and innovation that Las Vegas is renowned for.
Jay Vickers, the COO of the UNLV Sports Innovation and Entertainment conference, highlighted the intellectual capital of the city’s sports, entertainment, and civic leaders. He noted that in the last decade, Las Vegas has become a hub for innovation in the sports industry.
The SEI Con event is being spearheaded by Vickers, who runs the UNLV Sports Innovation Institute. The conference aims to provide an opportunity for UNLV students to grow in their chosen field by offering valuable educational experiences. Students from Syracuse University have also partnered with UNLV to be involved in organizing a major event.
The SEI Con event will feature speakers and thought leaders in the industry, facilitating collaboration and networking opportunities for businesses and individuals alike. Following its inaugural run this July 15th through July 17th in Las Vegas, vertical events are planned for cities like New York
