The National Inventors Hall of Fame is set to bring Camp Invention, a nationally recognized nonprofit summer enrichment program, to the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center from June 10th to June 14th. Run by the National Inventors Hall of Fame in collaboration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, this program challenges children in grades K-6 to explore their natural curiosity and use their creativity to solve problems.

Camp Invention’s hands-on activities promote STEM learning while also building confidence, leadership, perseverance, resourcefulness, and entrepreneurial skills. Each year, the program introduces a new curriculum inspired by some of the country’s most influential inventors, the National Inventors Hall of Fame Inductees. This year’s theme is Illuminate, which encourages children to embrace their ideas with confidence and explore their innovative spirit through engaging activities such as Let’s Glow, Prototyping Studio, In the Game, and Operation: HydroDrop.

Parents have praised the program for inspiring their children to think creatively and develop a new perspective on problem-solving. One parent shared that her daughter’s experience at Camp Invention opened up a whole new world of creativity and sparked her interest in building things and approaching challenges with a creative mindset.

Camp Invention programs are led by qualified educators who aim to serve over 122,000 students annually through partnerships established with more than 2,500 schools and districts nationwide. To learn more about Camp Invention or register for the program visit invent.org/camp
