The City and County Public Health District in Lubbock, Texas will be relocating to a new building on July 16, as stated in a press release from the City of Lubbock. During this transition, citizens can still contact the staff at the public health district and operations like disease surveillance will continue as usual. However, there will be disruptions to administrative operations on July 9-10 while administrative staff moves to the new building.

The summer activities from the City of Lubbock Parks and Rec will not be affected by this move. Lubbock’s Environmental Health Department will also be relocating to the new location, but daily operations will not be greatly impacted. The environmental health department will continue to take payments and calls as usual during the move, but starting on July 16, permit payments and inquiries will be handled at the new location, according to the press release.
