The U.S. Small Business Administration has established recovery centers in the Baltimore area to assist small businesses affected by the Key Bridge collapse. These centers are open to help business owners complete disaster loan applications, accept documents for existing applications, and provide updates on the status of loan applications. Eligible businesses include small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small aquaculture businesses, and private nonprofit organizations.

Operating hours for the recovery centers vary, but they are generally open during weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with extended hours on Saturdays until 2 p.m., and closed on Sundays. The Carefirst Engagement Center is located at 1501 S. Clinton St, Ste #100, Baltimore, MD 21224, while the Dundalk Renaissance Center is located at 11 Center Place, Dundalk, MD 21222.

In addition to providing assistance with loan applications and document submissions, the Baltimore City Mayor’s Office of Employment Development and Baltimore County Department of Economic and Workforce representatives will be available at both locations to offer additional support and resources for affected businesses.

The deadline for filing applications is December 30, 2024. To learn more about these services or to apply for a disaster loan, visit the provided link.
