Lune Wine Bar, a new addition to the Downtown Fresno scene, has quickly become a go-to spot for wine enthusiasts of all levels. The co-owners, Kellie Lopez and Allison Cassabon, emphasize the importance of educating customers about the various wines they offer. They welcome guests to come in, chat with their friendly staff, and enjoy a glass of wine in a relaxed atmosphere.

Lopez and Cassabon have been friends since their teenage years and originally started a charcuterie business called Fig & Honey. The success of their catering-based company led them to expand and open Lune Wine Bar, creating a perfect complement to their existing business. Transitioning from a catering business to a brick-and-mortar location presented its own set of challenges, but the duo successfully navigated through the process by experimenting with different strategies to attract customers.

The aesthetic transformation of Lune Wine Bar reflects the fusion of their catering business as they operate both businesses out of the same kitchen. This allows them to offer a diverse menu that includes cheese boards, loaded hummus, and charcuterie, with plans to soon introduce espresso to their offerings. As Lune Wine Bar celebrates its one-year anniversary, they are excited to add coffee to their menu, offering Soleil or Sunshine brews for customers to enjoy either in-house or to go.
