On Tuesday, Singapore Airlines announced that it would provide compensation to all passengers on flight SQ321 from London to Singapore. The flight experienced extreme turbulence at 37,000 feet above Bangkok, resulting in about eighty passengers being injured and one fatality at the end of May.

Passengers who were seriously injured will receive a provisional sum of $25,000, with the potential for this amount to increase after discussions with the passengers. Those who suffered minor injuries will receive $10,000. Additionally, the airline will refund the cost of the flight to all passengers, including those who were not injured.

Singapore Airlines’ compensation plan aims to support those affected by the incident and provide financial assistance for their injuries. The safety and well-being of passengers is a top priority for the airline, and they are taking steps to address the aftermath of the turbulent flight. The airline has already implemented new safety measures on its flights and is working closely with regulatory authorities to ensure that all flights are safe and comfortable for passengers.
