Karin Exner-Wöhrer, a member of the supervisory board at Signa Prime, has announced her resignation from her position. She informed the heads of the supervisory board and restructuring administrators of both companies, Prime and Development, of her decision and will be stepping down four weeks after notifying the companies. The reasons for her departure are reportedly due to agreements not being kept and uncertainties surrounding supervisory board remuneration.

The Signa Prime supervisory board underwent changes last week with Michael Mitterdorfer and Sebastian Schäfer joining Exner-Wöhrer on the board. Schäfer, a lawyer with experience in restructuring from Credit Suisse Group, brings valuable expertise to the board. The remaining members of the board include Michael Siefert from Madison International Realty and Jürgen-Johann Rupp from German RAG, making a total of four members with Exner-Wöhrer’s impending departure.

Exner-Wöhrer has remained quiet about her decision while Prime has not commented on the situation. It is unclear what impact this change will have on the future of Signa Prime and its operations.
