The finalists for Upstate high school boys athlete of the week from April 15-21 have been announced. Carson Boleman from Southside Christian, Christian Carbonell from Greenville, Smith Darby from J.L. Mann, Reid Feldman from St. Joseph’s, Harrison Finney from Mauldin, Raheim Harris from Spartanburg, Peyton Lawter from Chesnee, and Bennett Scaletta from T.L. Hanna were selected based on their exceptional performance in their respective sports.

Coaches are encouraged to nominate top performers each week by email or direct message on X, formerly known as Twitter, to @toddshanesySHJ. Last week’s fan favorite was Crescent baseball player Brody Linker, who received 66 percent of the votes. Voting will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday and multiple votes are allowed.

Carson Boleman of Southside Christian struck out 11 batters in a baseball win against St. Joseph’s while also going 2-for-2 at the plate and driving in a run. Christian Carbonell of Greenville scored four goals and had an assist in a lacrosse victory over Eastside
