The Better Business Bureau of Arkansas recognized businesses that demonstrated a commitment to ethics, standards, leadership, and social responsibility during this year’s Torch Awards. Among the winners were two Northwest Arkansas businesses – The Stitt Group home solar energy company in Rogers and Secondhand Smoke barbecue caterer in Fayetteville. Roller Funeral Homes and Tipton & Hurst florist, both located in Little Rock, also received recognition. Additionally, a special Spark Award was given to Leashes and Lashes, a new dog-training service in Jacksonville.

The Torch Awards are organized by the Better Business Bureau, a private nonprofit organization that evaluates businesses based on customer service, consumer protection, transparency, and licensing. These awards highlight the importance of maintaining high ethical standards in business practices and honoring those who demonstrate a commitment to honesty, integrity, and social responsibility.

As winners of the Torch Awards in Arkansas, these companies will have the opportunity to compete in the International Torch Awards for Ethics later this year.
