Senator Joni Ernst, the Ranking Member of the Senate Small Business Committee, has released a video celebrating National Small Business Week. In the video, she highlights the resilience of Main Street businesses in the face of challenges brought on by the Biden administration.

Throughout her time in office, Senator Ernst has been dedicated to supporting various initiatives that benefit small businesses. This includes improving access to child care, supporting veteran entrepreneurs, and pushing back against risky lending rules imposed by the Biden administration. She is currently leading a bipartisan resolution recognizing the important contributions of small businesses across the country.

In Iowa, Senator Ernst has worked on legislation such as the Stop Stolen Valor for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Contractors Act, the Small Business Child Care Investment Act, the Prove It Act, and the SCORE Act. These initiatives aim to address specific challenges faced by small businesses, such as closing loopholes in federal contracting, increasing access to affordable child care, and reforming mentorship programs for female entrepreneurs.

Senator Ernst remains committed to advocating for American entrepreneurs and supporting job creation through her work on the Small Business Committee.
