Iowa Senator Joni Ernst made a stop in Siouxland on Wednesday, where she recognized a small business for its outstanding work. The recipient of the “Small Business of the Week” award was Hawkeye Fabrication, a third-generation family-owned business that has been owned by the Bogue family since 1998. The company specializes in constructing steel fabrication for bridges and highways in Iowa and the Midwest.

During her visit to Hawkeye Fabrication, Senator Ernst toured the facility and met with the employees. She expressed her appreciation for family-owned businesses in Iowa and highlighted their importance in supporting local communities. Manager Jared Bogue spoke about the significance of Senator Ernst’s visit and how it validated their efforts to be part of the small-town community culture in Iowa.
