Juan Figallo, a former player for Saracens, has been coaching the club’s men’s and women’s teams since his retirement in 2020. However, he announced that he will be leaving the club at the end of the season. During his time at Saracens, Figallo won four Premiership titles and three European Champions Cups. He also represented Argentina in three World Cups before retiring due to a head injury sustained during the 2019 World Cup in Japan.

Figallo made a significant impact as a coach, leading the Saracens Women to victory in the Premier 15s in 2022 and helping the men’s team achieve Premiership glory last season. He expressed his gratitude to the club, stating, “I have been at Saracens for nearly a third of my life. My time at Saracens has come to an end physically but my love and support will always be here.”

Prior to joining Saracens, Figallo played for Montpellier in France for five years. His move to Saracens in 2014 proved to be successful as he quickly won the Premiership in his first season with the club. Throughout his time with Saracens, Figallo played 96 times for the team and earned 33 international caps with Argentina.

As Saracens prepare to face Northampton Saints in the Premiership final next Friday, Figallo’s departure marks the end of an era for the club. His contributions as both a player and coach have left a lasting legacy at Saracens.
