In the week of April 4 to April 11, several restaurants and food establishments in San Bernardino County were ordered to close due to health violations. Birrieria Guadalajara in Ontario was shut down on April 5 for not having enough hot water. Jimmie’s Market & Liquor in San Bernardino was also closed on April 4 due to a sewage overflow but was able to reopen the next day. Another establishment, Tempe House in San Bernardino, was closed on April 4 for a cockroach infestation.

The list of closures is published weekly by the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health, providing transparency and accountability in these inspections. By being aware of these closures, the public can make informed decisions about where they choose to dine and support businesses that prioritize food safety and cleanliness. The department sources this information from its inspections, ensuring that the public is informed about any health violations that may occur at local establishments.
