Samsung Electronics has announced the expansion of Galaxy AI features to a wider range of devices through the One UI 6.1 update. Originally only available on the flagship models of the Galaxy S24 series, the update is now accessible to users of the Galaxy S23, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and Tab S9 series starting in March. This move allows Samsung to bring advanced AI technologies to a significant number of consumers. Since its release, there have been 8.8 million downloads of Galaxy AI features, and Samsung expects this number to grow exponentially, with over 100 million users worldwide expected to benefit from the features by the end of 2024.

The One UI 6.1 update has received a positive reception among European users, with high download rates among owners of devices like the Galaxy Z Fold5, S23 Ultra, and Tab S9. In response to this positive feedback, Samsung has planned a second phase of rollout in May. This phase will extend Galaxy AI capabilities to other models such as the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 foldable devices, and the Galaxy Tab S8 series tablets.

This demonstrates Samsung’s commitment to making AI technologies accessible and widely available to its users. By bringing these advanced features to more devices at an affordable price point
