The book is named ‘Controvento’ because Salvini believes in speaking his mind without seeking universal approval. He emphasizes that he stands against censorship, hypocrisy, and gagging. Salvini and Vannacci were described by Salvini as a “Luciferian couple for the left.” Both politicians stress the importance of national values and identity in a changing Europe.
