Iran is set to receive a shipment of advanced Sukhoi 35 fighter jets from Russia, which will greatly enhance its air force capabilities. The delivery, expected to include 24 aircraft, is a significant upgrade from the outdated Phantom and F-14 aircraft currently in use by Iran’s air force.

This move comes at a time when tensions are high between Iran and Israel. Reports suggest that Israel recently targeted a Russian S-300 air defense battery near the Natanz nuclear facility, while Russia is also expected to provide Iran with S-400 air defense systems in the near future.

The growing military cooperation between Iran and Russia is of concern to Israel, as it could potentially shift the balance of power in the region. Iran has been a key supplier of UAVs for Russia in the conflict in Ukraine, and the exchange of advanced weaponry between the two countries poses a threat to regional stability.

It is important to note that discussions around military advancements and international relations should be conducted in a respectful and ethical manner. Any expressions of violence, incitement, or racism are not tolerated in the discourse. As such, it is crucial that diplomacy and strategic decision-making are employed to prevent escalation and maintain peace in the region.
