The Russian military launched a surprise attack on the 32nd Ukrainian Mechanized Brigade in Kharkov province, near the city of Chuguev. The video released by Russian defense television showed two Iskander tactical ballistic missiles completely destroying the target, causing significant damage to equipment and potentially casualties.

The decision to carry out the attack was made immediately after coordinates were transferred to the command post by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crew. The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that they discovered a stationing area for the 32nd Ukrainian Mechanized Brigade and restored its combat power in the province. However, they did not disclose the specific time or location of the attack.

In addition to this incident, Russia also carried out coordinated attacks on Ukraine using various high-precision long-range weapons from March 23-30. Targets included defense industry corporations, decision-making centers of the Ukrainian army, factories producing unmanned boats, ammunition depots, gas stations, air defense and energy infrastructure.

Ukrainian officials have not commented on these attacks specifically. However, it is worth noting that the 32nd Brigade was one of nine Ukrainian brigades trained by NATO and was expected to participate in a counter-offensive campaign. Unfortunately, due to lack of necessary tanks and armored vehicles, it was deployed on the Lugansk front before retreating to rear positions.
